Sony said they would deliver news of an exciting new sequel this week and they really pulled through with such a promise. Socom 4 was announced today. This is not a "dummed down" experience like Socom: Confrontation was. This will be the first full blown Socom game on Playstation 3. It is currently being developed by the original Socom developers Zipper Interactive. Zipper promised to be fully committed to its latest game MAG while promising so much on Socom 4. The single player mode will last over 12 hours and the game's multiplayer will allow up to 32 player to go head to head in tactical shooter action. Socom 4 will release this Fall exclusively on Playstation 3.
