Heh. I bet none of you realized we did tournaments at GamersCast... Well, two years ago, I did attempt at holding a Mario Kart DS Tournament, but it became so unorganized that it became a complete train wreck by the end of it. And so now, I know exactly what went wrong, fixed it, and so this tournaments is born!
Yes, Halo 3 is an amazing game, we know that, selling more copies than any other in the shortest span of time. And so, it is only fitting that a tournament is made for it. If you are interested in competing please send an e-mail, with your GamerTag in the subject line to: HaloGC@gmail.com (the GC stands for GamersCast). And when you send the e-mail, please send it from your primary e-mail address (You could use your Wii if really wanted to, but I wouldn't advise it). We will use whatever e-mail address you send the e-mail from, so keep that in mind, also don't type anything, but your GamerTag in the subject line. It doesn't matter what's in the body of the message, we won't be looking there.
After you sign-up you will receive an e-mail detailing the entire rules and regulations of the tournament, which is being hosted by our own Adam Shear. If you do not agree to the terms of the rules (which there isn't any reason to object to them unless you are planning on cheating), then you will be given the chance to back out.
After this tournament, we will have a more official like form for entering tournaments, but before I go through that kind of trouble, I wanted to see how this tournament plays out.
If you do sign-up I would subscribe to the GamersCast: Video Game Tournaments podcast, where you can get all the updates on the tournament! (However, it now reads as "GamersCast: Halo 3 Tournament!") If you have any questions, you can also send them to: HaloGC@gmail.com.
And lastly, keep in mind, that tournaments updates WILL NOT be posted here or on the sent through the newsletter. Further details will be given upon registering for the tournament.
