Nintendo DSi LL

Why won't Nintendo just come out with a new generation handheld already? Nintendo has now announced plans, for yet another redesign of the Nintendo DS handheld gaming system. This time being dubbed the Nintendo DSi LL.

The new device boasts screens that are 93% bigger than the current model, battery life ranging from 9 to 11 hours, and a bigger stylus. Other than that and some pre-installed DSiWare, the systems are identical.

Dsi LL will hit Japanese shores on November 21 of this year for a price equivalent to $220 US dollars. The American release of the device is currently scheduled for the first quarter of 2010, with no confirmed pricing info.
