Anyways, not only did Modern Warfare 2 set the record for most successful launch across forms of entertainment in one day selling 4.7 million units in the first 24 hours. It also broke the record for most successful entertainment launch, in the launch week. After a full week on store shelves, Modern Warfare 2 grossed over $600 million , with nearly 10 million units sold already!
It's also notable to say the sales of the Xbox 360 version of the game, actually doubled the sales of the PlayStation 3 version.
