Back in the land of the rising sun, Nintendo released both Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes as part of their "New Play Control" series. And American gamers have grown impatient as to whether we would soon see these games here. And now, I think we may have one-upped them.
On August 24, Nintendo will be releasing the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii. The Metroid Prime Trilogy will include all 3 Metroid Prime games on one disc for the Wii. And the first two games are being released with the New Play Control scheme for Wii and redone in 16:9 widescreen display.
The Metroid Prime Trilogy will release for the Wii on August 24 for an MSRP of $49.99, which is currently the same price as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption alone. So, if you haven't played through the Metroid Prime series before, this is a great way to start.
