Its Finally Time To Buy A PSP!

Destination Playstation is always a huge event. The release dates of the dualshock 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, and an overhauled Playstation Store were announced at last year's event. This one focuses on PSP and Sony was not lying when they said big games are coming.

LittleBigPlanet will be coming this fall to PSP and Media Molecule is once again behind the next installment of the franchise which will be built from the ground up for PSP.

Motorstorm: Arctic Edge will be coming this fall to not just PSP but also Playstation 2. It will release this fall and will also be built for the ground up for its respective systems.

Rock Band: Unplugged will be the first game in the franchise to go portable exclusively on PSP. It will not use any additional accessories and will play like Amplitude and Frequency for PS2 (basically just with buttons and being able to scroll from instrument to instrument in real time.) The game will feature an in game Wi-Fi music store for DLC and will release later this year.

Dissidia Final Fantasy from Square Enix which sold 850,000 units will finally come to America later this year on PSP

EA Sports announced Madden 10 and Tiger Wood 10 for the PSP

Ubisoft announced Petz for PSP. They also announced Assassin's Creed for PSP to release later this year although they did not give any information about the game.

In addition, two new PSP bundles were announced. The first is a Hannah Montana bundle featuring a purple PSP, Hannah Montana PSP game, a UMD featuring several episodes of the show and a 2GB memory stick for $199. The second bundle is an Assassin's Creed bundle featuring a black PSP, a copy of the Assassin's Creed game along with extra items to be announced at a later date.
