Mysterious "X button functionality" for Halo 3 revealed

Well, the mysterious "X button functionality" in the highly anticipated Halo 3 has FINALLY been revealed. The X button will let use "equipment" like the bubble shield and trip mines which will be classified as a new type of weapon called "equipment." Fans of the series will get to test out these new types of weapons during the Halo 3 beta which will start on May 16 and will end on June 6. If you would like to get into the Halo 3 beta, copies of Crackdown still come with the beta invitations but expect this to end soon. So if you would like to participate in the beta buy Crackdown IMMEDIATELY and look for the label on the bottom right of the case which says that it comes with the beta. Remember you must have Xbox Live gold in order to participate in the beta.

Crackdown is also an amazing game so it is worth the money. If you would like more information on Crackdown, please listen to my review which is on the Gamerscast podcast feed or in the flash player on the homepage.
