GamersCast's VGA 2010 Liveblog

Hello. It's 7:30, lets get this liveblog going. For those who cannot view the VGAs or want a recap of the amazing announcements, this is the place you want to be. There are some things you should know to get the most updates as soon as possible. First, this blog does not automatically refresh itself. Most browsers have settings to automatically refresh a page after one minute or five minutes. Make sure you do that. Next, If you have comments, certainly submit them below and I will try to answer those on commercials. Finally, I am only covering the world premieres and exclusive announcements. We have our own awards to give out at the end of the year and we don't want other award shows on our sites. Maybe I'll say the pick for game of the year but that's about it. Feel free to enjoy. Show starts at 8 and will probably be about 2 hours.

About 15 minutes till the show begins. I'm sure like last year one huge announcement will start the show.

Premiere of Batman: Arkham City has been shown, It was all CGI and showed off the new villain for the game. Don't know his name but it looks like he's some sort of scientist. Apparently the world in Batman: Arkham Asylum will be 5 times the size of the original Arkham Island from the first game.

Todd Howard from Bethesda has unveiled Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to be released on November 11, 2011.

Kratos from God of War will be a playable character in the PlayStation 3 version Mortal Kombat. To be released early 2011.

THOR: God of Thunder world premiere trailer has been shown. Looks like a typical 3rd person action game. Game comes out on May 3, 2011.

Bioware's new game is Mass Effect 3. Looks like its taking place on Earth. It will be releasing Holiday 2011. For those wondering, no actual gameplay in reveal trailer. It was either live action or CGI. Couldn't tell.

Resistance 3 premiere trailer was just shown. It was a mix of live action and gameplay. The game looks absolutely stunning. Resistance 3 is coming September 6, 2011.

The premiere trailer and announcement of Prototype 2 has been shown. Prototype 2 will be released in 2012

Guillermo Del Toro's video game from THQ and Volition Studios, the studio behind Saint's Row and Red Faction is known as Insane. Looks like a horror game. Will be released in 2013.

New trailer for Portal 2 has been shown. Nothing new revealed, all CGI showing the characters in the co-op mode. As previously announced, it will release in April 2011.

World premiere exclusive trailer for Forza Motorsport 4 has been shown. Coming Fall 2011. This game technically was announced at E3 this year and will utilize Kinect.

The world premiere trailer of SSX: Deadly Desents has been shown. Looks intense and different from the other games in the series. No release date has been announced.

The world premiere trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception has been shown. Game looks great. Will be releasing on November 1, 2011.
