Sega has announced today that Sega Studio Japan is developing an all new entry in the Super Monkey Ball franchise exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. This makes sense since after all, Super Monkey Ball would be a perfect fit with 3DS features such as the motion sensor and would look amazing in 3D. Super Monkey Ball will include many different game types including single player puzzle levels, Monkey Race, and Monkey Fight. Up to four players will be able to battle it out via a wireless connection. As for controls, players will have the option of using either the 3DS's slide pad or motion controls. Look for Super Monkey Ball for Nintendo 3DS sometime in 2011
